"Princess" was named by the neighbor children since she was 'the prettiest horse they had ever seen'. She is a classically built 7-year-old Quarter Horse mare with excellent conformation, loads of muscle and a pretty, 'baby-doll' head with a large kind eye. Princess was started using Natural Horsemanship and roundpen training and has been under saddle for several years now. She is friendly, sweet, loves attention and has good ground manners. She willingly walks away from the barn by herself, isn't spooky riding through the neighborhood and has a fast, reaching walk. The grandchildren sometimes ride her around the place bareback, yet she is quick, fast, powerful and responsive to an adult or experienced rider. Princess has had a rope thrown off her and been hauled to a few ropings, but hasn't been trained out of the box. She IS very cowy and really follows a steer, so if you use her for team penning or sorting, hopefully you have a 'deep seat' or you COULD end up sitting in the dust. Princess is good to clip, you can mount or dismount for both sides, touch her everywhere without her getting grumpy, and loads and hauls super. Princess is ONLY being offered for sale due to the economy - she was the one the family wanted to keep forever, but sometimes hard decisions have to be made... This pretty young mare lives in Wittmann, Arizona, and as far as her owner knows is totally sound, healthy and up-to-date on her worming.
