Millie is a cute little 9-year-old
dun Quarter Horse mare with a pretty head, deep shoulder with a good
wither, and strong muscular hindquarters. She was purchased a bit over a
year ago as a trail horse for "grandma", but grandma has been too busy
to ride her so Millie has mostly been ridden by the 9-year-old
granddaughter. Millie's previous owner used her on a drill team, at
rodeos, in parades, and on the trails both in the mountains and at the
beach. Millie is usually a lead mare in a herd or grumpy with other
horses and protective of her feed, but other than that she is kind and
good to get along with. She is easy to catch (often walks right up to
you), loves attention, is easy to shoe, and loads and hauls nicely.
Millie can stand around for weeks or months at a time; then be caught,
groomed and ridden off with no buck nor goofiness. Millie is up-to-date
on her shots and worming, and lives in the Roseburg area of Oregon.
