Dakota is well-broke, light in the bridle, responsive to leg and weight cues, athletic, intelligent and sensitive. She has been on lots of trail rides, where she prefers leading the group, and also to the beach where she boldly rode into the waves clear up to her belly. Because Dakota is reactive, fast and quick, she needs a confident experienced rider who loves a horse with energy. She has been trained to do the gaming events at play days and barrel race, and has been taken to several barrel racing clinics. Her owner says that Dakota is really very sweet and loves attention, and once you gain her trust, she will try to do anything for you. With her correct, refined conformation, she would look beautiful as an English or Hunter Under Saddle mount - I don't know about her jumping abilities. Dakota is in the AQHA Incentive Fund, has been tested and certified HYPP N/N, is healthy, loads and hauls well, and lives in Culver in central Oregon.
