"Jojo" began his life as a much-loved and well-trained show horse. Unfortunately, over the years, Jojo fell into the wrong hands three times, and has twice been rescued in a near starvation state by his current owner. This pretty boy (it is evident by his still lovely conformation that he must have been GORGEOUS when younger) has also been attacked by a cougar years ago and still bares the scars on his left shoulder and right hindquarters. In spite of all the hard times that Jojo has endured, he is still alert, happy, eager and loves to be ridden. Jojo can be enjoyed by a knowledgeable rider (he IS still a lively Arabian!) under English or western tack or even bareback. In the photo above he is being ridden in a bitless hackamore type of bridle and although high-headed, he is responsive and respectful. Jojo's ground manners are excellent; he is good to bathe, clip, stand for the farrier to trim (he doesn't need shoes) and he also loads and hauls in a trailer. He has had quite a bit of Parelli-style training and seems to enjoy the round pen work, so it would be neat if whoever buys him follows Natural Horsemanship ideas. Jojo will ONLY be sold to an approved new home where he will be loved and ridden; he is still a great trail horse and loves to get out and go. Jojo is current on his shots, worming and hoof trims and lives in Redmond in the central Oregon area.

PRICE:   $600 to an approved home only
